Following his recent cover feature with Get Noticed Magazine alongside British music legend Paul Weller, acclaimed saxophonist and composer Kevin Haynes continues to create music that celebrates culture, connection, and tradition.

As the leader of UK-based ensemble Grupo Elegua, Kevin blends contemporary jazz with African rhythms, Afro-Cuban influences, spiritual storytelling, and ancestral traditions to create a sound that is both unique and powerful.

Known for his distinctive alto saxophone style, Kevin has enjoyed a remarkable career performing and collaborating with some of the most respected names in jazz, while also bringing his music to audiences around the world.

Grupo Elegua’s latest single “Su Beding Wedding Ya” offers a glimpse into their forthcoming album “Inner Outer Alignment”, combining rich rhythms, uplifting melodies, and a deep connection to heritage and spirituality.

Born in Benin and raised in West London, Kevin Haynes continues to push musical boundaries — creating a sound that honours the past while looking towards the future.
